Kingston is run by Bill Moularadellis, he established the business in 1979 and it has become the tenth largest winery in Australia, but is still family owned. Very good quality throughout the range the soft pressing of the grapes gives delicious, pure fruit character and vital, luscious ripeness.

Mount Horrocks, Clare Valley

Well made wines from Stephanie Toole. The hand harvested Riesling is the epitome of minerally, taut wine, and the Shiraz is a bold deeply coloured wine with 17 months of oak ageing to its credit. The last word on the Shiraz we leave to Philip White, Australias most ascerbic wine critic, "If Shiraz evolved to a point at which it makes itself, it would be like this elegant, supple , pristine essence....."

Shaw and Smith, Adelaide Hills

Aromatic and intense wines from a partnership between Martin Shaw and Michael Hill-Smith, two of Australias leading lights. Beautifully balanced, poised elegant wine with crisp fruit character and charming freshness.

Redfin, Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale

These wines are a good example of wht we are trying to achieve. rather than source the grape from the huge industrial Riverland grape growing area where all the big brands buy their fruit, these wines have been sourced from the cool climate adelaide Hills  for the white and premium region of McLaren Vale for the red. Due to this quality the cost of fruit is much more big brands but the price to you is similar to the big brands as there is not a gigantic marketing budget to find! All the effort and expense has gone into the fruit. The Chardonnay is lean, very lightly oaked in style, an "of the moment character". The red is a stunner and offers, once again, the value that took Australia to No. 1 position in the UK market. 55% Shiraz for backbone and spice and 45% Grenache for elegance and perfume. As of the next vintage the wines will be organic

Benson Rise, Limestone Coast

This is white Cabernet Sauvignon. A chanse discovery of a clone of this red grape variety has produced this intreguing white wine. Rich and full flavoured with a generous, rounded style. Dry, ripe and fruity, and most certainly unique.
