We are proud to represent Casa Silva in the North West of England and feel they are striving to maintain the same ideals we try to uphold i.e. the best quality for a fair price. They control quality through their privately owned 800 hectares of vineyard and the fifth generation of three brothers, Mario Pablo, Francisco and Gonzalo are at the helm. Established in 1926 the company was voted South American winery of the year in 2000, at the International Wine Competition. Super wines with true varietal character. Their entry level wines have a generous ripeness and clean fruit driven palates, whilst the Collecion range offers more concentrated fruit character. The Reserva and Gran Reserva wines benefit from well balanced oak ageing. The Colchagua valley is recognised as the premium grape producing area in Chile and the family holdings are all found there. The whole range is superbly presented and the wines never disappoint.

Altura
The pinnacle of Casa Silva's achievements combining their best vineyard selections and their considerable wine making skills. Possibly the best wine to come out of South America. 60% Carmenère with 20% Cabernet Sauvignon
