Bernard Chereau, Saint-Fiacre

Extensive vineyards give Bernard Chereau an enviable range of wines. The inimitable Muscadet is still unbeatable with seafood, try the Chateau de Chasseloir made from 100 year old vines. The Vaufuget is a lovely, slightly honeyed medium dry wine. His Le Clos wine is a delicious lightly oaked example, smooth rich and creamy, but with exceptional cleasing acidty and great balance.

André Dezat et Fils, Verdigny

With sons Louis and Simon in charge of growing and winemaking and daughters-in-law, Sylvie and Nadine running the administration this is a true family affair. Andrés wines are full and steely and chock full of gooseberry fruit. Old vines and low yields all add to the depth and quality of the wine.

Domaine Thibault, André Dezat et Fils, Verdigny

Originnally started some years ago, André bought his first 4.5 hectares near Tracy. Now at around 10 hectares, his vineyards produce outstanding wines. With great attention to detail, low yields and cold fermentation the wine is pure, mineral laced, with crisp dryness to finish.

Fournier Pere et Fils, Verdigny

We continue to be impressed with this wineries efforts. We have imported the Fournier’s wines for more than ten years.

Pascal Jolivet

Pascal Jolivet owns some 28 hectares and has long term contracts with like minded quality growers. His aim is to produce wines that are, above all, elegant and refined. the single domaine Sancerre from Caillottesis a cool fermented wine given extra depth by spending a short time on it's lees. the Exception wines are a tiny production

of what Pascal believes are his best expression of both red and white Sancerre.

Domaine Vigneau-Chevreau, Vouvray

Biodynamic estate producing wines that were the revelation of the many samples we have tasted over the last twelve months. The single vineyard sec is amazingly good with the hallmark searing acidity coated by delicious

ripe fruit. The moelleux is a rich sweet wine with apple flavours and a rich, nutty honeyed character.

Domaine de la Monnaie, Eric Morgat

We think the Worlds greatest expression of Chenin Blanc emanates from this small corner of the Loire Valley just south of Angers.

Jean-Christophe Mandard, Mareuil-sur-Cher

Jean-Christophe has owned this estate, inherited from his father, since 1993. He is the fourth generation of his family to run this vineyard. The clay laced soils produce a pure Sauvignon with intense aromas and good, crunchy

finish.

Denis Jamain, Reuilly

Denis has 15 hectares of vineyards. Limestone and clay soils give delicious Sauvignon Blanc. Soft pressed and cold fermented, the wine is a fragrant and effusive white with great character.

Domaine de Bellivière, Eric Nicholas

We think a great expression of Chenin Blanc emanates from this small corner of the Loire valley. Produced from grapes grown on several tiny plots of land, this uniquely rich is a real find.
