The Wines of France

Regional French Wine

South of France

Picpoul has a delicious aromatic style, fragrant and fullsome with an attractive character. The Château du Donjon is a mature, opulent oak aged red and super value wine. Three recent additions to the list all from the doyen of Madiran, M. Alain Brumont : a tasty white wine made from the local Petit Courbu grape with Gros Manseng and Chardonnay and a big powerful red. We recommend these wines wholeheartedly.

Jurançon

The Jurançon Sec is tangy enough to cut through the creamiest of sauces, whilst the sweet wine is produced by leaving bunches on the vine with their stalks twisted to dry and concentrate the grapes.
