Rincon de Pedraza

Situated in the Santuiste de San Bautista, this excellent winery produces a fine dry white. The Verdejo, grown in these parts since the 11th Century, gives wine with concentrated gooseberry freshness. Harvested at night, the cooler temperature helps maintain the primary fruit character, and modern wine making facilities up the quality factor another notch.

Almansa

Situated inland from Alicante the DO of Almansa is home to this fine winery. With a touch of Shiraz in the cuvee of Tempranillo and Monastrell, this oak aged red is concentrated with red berry aromas, warm and spicy on the palate and persistant on the finish.

Albarino is a crisp dry grape variety, young and ebullient with good depth and structure. An interesting alternative to Sancerre.

Yecla is located in South Eastern Spain. we have recently discovered its potential with the Castano Bodega. The wines show real depth of character from vineyards located at altitude which helps promote complexity, with warm air rising from the Mediterranean ripening the grapes to perfection. The Coleccion wine is a excellent reserva style with a years oak ageing, luscious and rich it has real bite. The Dominio and Pozuelo are delicious spicy, peppery reds that are well worth a try.
