Le Colombier
Lebanon
£19.95
Le Colombier is modern and approachable, with a nice depth of flavour in a fresh, thirst-quenching wine for everyday drinking.
Distinguished by hints of spice and pepper, drink when young to fully enjoy its fruit.
Cinsault, Grenache Noir and Tempranillo grapes are grown on 37-acres of hillsides of the Beqaa Valley at between 900 and 1,200 metres above sea level in chalky clay soil, with vines aged around 40-years on average.
Vinification takes place at the Tanaïl winery where the grapes are hand-picked and sorted, fully destemmed, then undergo traditional fermentation for 20 to 30 days.
