A fresh and fruity uncomplicated Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire valley, Sauvignon de Touraine, Les Petits Faiteaux is crisp and herbaceous with a tangy flavour and nice mineral-laced palate. Dry and zesty.

Bernard, and now his daughter, Louise, have been supplying Stainton Wines with wines for 40 years now and, as with many of our suppliers, they have an intimate knowledge of their land and vines.

This Sauvignon de Touraine is a fine example of their knowledge and know how.

Here at Stainton Wines, we all prefer a Sauvignon from the Loire – be it from Touraine, Sancerre or Pouilly – to one from New Zealand, every time. They just have more drinkability factor, encouraging you to reach for another glass, which is no bad thing.
