This estate was recently crowned the South African Winery of the Year Award from Platters, and is very much at the forefront of winemaking in South Africa with all their wines in great demand.
Troika from Cape Chamonix has lovely fruit definition, firm in youth but with time will open out to a lush palate with oak undertones.
The blend is 51% Cabernet Franc, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Merlot, with the green characteristics of the Cabernet Franc showing through first and plump Merlot softening the finish.
